Tony O'Shea - Managing Director

Tony has over 30 years experience in the Systems Integration (SI) industry. Tony was the Managing Director and one of the founders of TAC Pacific (formerly EMS Control Systems and later CSI Pacific), which grew to become one of the leading regional SI suppliers. This company grew from a start-up providing Energy Management Services to revenues in excess of $70m operating throughout Australia and Asia.

Tony has an HNC in Building Services from the UK and strong technical background in Building Control systems. He has spent much of his career developing and growing businesses both in Australia and overseas. Over the last 13 years, Tony has been involved with and sat on the boards of numerous Systems Integration companies in America, Europe and Asia Pacific. During this time he had firsthand experience of global strategies and the development of emerging technologies in the Industry.

Tony is a firm believer in capitalizing on technology to improve operational efficiency for facility owners and managers.  Apart from his tertiary qualifications, Tony is a Fellow of the Institute of Company Directors and an Accredited Green Star Professional.

Tony has been involved in the conceptual design, project management and risk assessment of all major projects IBMS have been involved in.

Paul Dearlove - Technical Director

Since graduating with honours in Electrical Engineering from UWA, Paul has been heavily involved in cutting edge technology in the BMS and Systems Integration industry. From a background in consulting engineering, Paul moved into project design and engineering then on to roles in R&D, product development, training and technical support. This varied experience culminated in senior global technical roles in CSI and TAC. In this role Paul was responsible for the technical direction of the company, which involved the evaluation, and development of emerging technologies including open systems and web based services.

He is recognized as one of the industry's technical leaders and as such has presented many of his papers at conferences around the world. Paul was involved in the system architecture and design for many large and complex Systems Integration projects around the world and has been at the forefront of the ICT and BMS convergence over the last 10 years. During Paul's time with CSI and TAC he was also responsible for the energy-auditing group, which involved the many BMS reviews and upgrades.

Paul is also an Accredited Green Star Professional and NABERS assessor

Vince Simpson - Project Director

Vince has been involved in all aspects of operations in System Integration companies from design, project management through to service management. With over 23 years experience in the Systems Integration and BMS industries, including 14 years with TAC and 4 years with Honeywell, Vince has run engineering departments both in Australia and in Singapore.

In addition to Vince's technical qualifications, he also holds an MBA, which is valuable in developing business models for life cycle costing and investment programs. Vince is also an Accredited Green Star Professional.
