Andrew Crabtree - Building Services and Commissioning Consultant
Andrew is a Chartered Professional Engineer with a Master of Arts in Mechanical Science from Cambridge University, UK. He has over 30 years experience in Mechanical Engineering, principally in the Building Services industry, and in computer software development for various engineering applications. The eclectic nature of his career to date has given him a flair for problem solving and innovation.
Andrew has also been responsible for developing and introducing commissioning and recommissioning processes and methodology, which have resulted in some dynamic efficiency in building services.
Andrew has also a key team member of the team responsible for mechanical and electrical design reviews.

Peter Rogers - Senior Consultant
Peter has 39 years experience within the Building Services Industry and have in-depth knowledge of all aspects of controls engineering from design and specification through to completion and after sales service. Peter spent a number of years working for CSI/TAC and was responsible for marketing and new business development for the Asia Pacific Region.
As the International Manager of a leading Australian controls supplier (CSI/TAC) Peter was responsibility for developing a partner business in the Asia Pacific region, including China, Hong Kong, Korea, Philippines, Thailand and Vietnam. Peter also established an Asian subsidiary company, which was presented with the ANZ Bank Business Excellence Award in 2000 for being the best performing Australian based Company in Hong Kong and Greater China.
Peter was a director of OVE ARUP and Partners Ltd in London and held the position of Business Area Leader (Controls and Commissioning Group) and Commercial Director Security (Risk and Controls Group)

Will Morton - Senior Consultant
Will Morton is a qualified Mechanical Engineer and has been involved with Building Automation systems for over 20 years. His various roles have seen him involved with design and project management ventures for commercial, institutional and healthcare facilities. Will spent over 10 years with CSI/TAC where he has managed both project and service departments for and was responsible for engineering systems and after sales operations for strategic SA projects.
Will also served 3 years with Adelaide Airport where he specifically focused on business systems, building automation service technologies and security applications for Adelaide and Parafield Airports.
Employed by Tour & Andersson Control AB in Sweden, Will spent 5 years in the role of a Systems Application Engineer where he was employed to develop software within the R&D department which focused on heating microprocessor based controllers for the European and Scandinavian markets.
Will comes to IBMS with an enormous amount of expertise and will be responsible for undertaking projects based in NSW.
Adam Gregory - Consultant
Adam began his career in the Building Services industry in 1996 as a refrigeration mechanic and moved into the Controls industry in 2000 as a Services Technician. After several years as a Services and Commissioning technician he was promoted into project engineering where he gained much experience in the design and programming of many BMS systems including Lonworks and Bacnet.
Some of the projects Adam was responsible for include Curtin University where he designed and commissioned LON based systems and Royal Perth Hospital. The Royal Perth Hospital project encompassed the simultaneous change out of the redundant Honeywell Excel control system with a current generation TAC system across five buildings. Project value was over $1,000,000. Adam was also responsible for several small works projects for Worsley Alumina and Rio Tinto to industrial standards.
Adam is currently finalizing his diploma in Information Technology. In addition his ability to grasp energy efficient control strategies and troubleshooting capabilities made him an ideal candidate for IBMS.
Paul Bricknell - Senior Consultant
Paul has over twenty years experience in a range of design, project management and service roles in the fields of BMS, Security and Integrated systems, with over 14 years experience with EMS/CSI/TAC. Paul was also responsible for providing technical support to the project and services departments.
His expertise in managing large scale projects has seen him respo nsible for major projects such as: Innovation Place Sydney (Integrated BMCS, Security & CCTV), NSW Police HQ Parramatta (integrated BMS), Latitude @ World Square, Holsworthy Special Forces Training Facility SCADA and Merck Sharp & Dohme Pharmaceuticals.
Paul is a qualified Electrical Mechanic, a Certified Andover Engineer and is certified as a LON Integrator for Echelon. He has a very clear understanding of project management issues including commercial and financial aspects, contract law and managing multiple deadlines. Paul has been responsible for designing and managing databases, conducting technical training to service and project teams and was a product trainer for TAC Vista, TAC Continuum, Lonmaker and INET product platforms.
Since joining IBMS in 2008, Paul has worked on BMS design and project management reviews on a number of technology projects.
Paul comes to IBMS with an enormous amount of expertise and will be responsible for undertaking projects based in NSW.
Glen Miller - Senior Software Engineer
A highly experienced senior software development professional who has been directly and continuously involved in software development since 1990. Experience includes application development and database schema designs for large-scale energy management reporting systems, real time building management systems, security and access control software, and engineering design tools.
Has successfully managed software development teams of up to ten developers over the past eight years and has led a number of development projects using heavily involved in C# and. NET over the past three years and has also been heavily involved with SQL development for past five years.
Claude Giacci - Software Engineer
Claude has nearly 20 years experience in software development and system implementation focussed in the building automation and control sector. He has worked on product design and development for a range of building control systems including commercial DDC, home automation, security and fire detection systems. Claude's experience also extends to the development of integration products between different control systems.
Since joining IBMS in 2008, Claude has been a key engineer in the implementation of IELVS systems on projects such as 100 St Georges Tce in Perth.
Mike Morley - Consultant
Mike is a results-driven senior contracts manager with over 40 years experience in BMS and Access/Security markets in Asia Pacific region. Mike's experience and knowledge base comes from many years with some of the largest Automation and Security companies in the world including Honeywell, TAC and Chubb. Mikes core skills include Contract Management, system design, strategic business development and technical writing.
Mike joined IBMS in 2009.
Steve Kotlarz - Consultant
Steve has over 20 years experience in Buidling Automation and Access/Security industry including a long career in Project Engineering and Project Management roles with major companies in the industry including Chubb and TAC. Steve has demonstrated skills in project management for a number of large contracts and has had a great deal of experience in the education and mining sectors working on projects with many of the major universities and mining companies in Western Australia.
Steve joined IBMS in 2010.
Jeff Hall - Consultant
Jeff's extensive experience in the refrigeration and HVAC industries extends over 20 years. Jeff's career has especially focussed on the healthcare sector where he has been responsible for designing and implementing control systems in many of the major hospitals in Western Australia.
Jeff joined IBMS in 2010 and currently leads the site supervision for the IELVS, DDC and Security on the Fiona Stanley Hospital project.
Alan Browne - Consultant
Alan joined IBMS in 2010 from Ireland where he worked on a number of design projects as the mechanical design engineer. Major projects included design work for pharmaceutical projects for Pfizer in Ireland and Sweden.
Alan holds a BEng (Hons) from Cork Institute of Technology.
Sam Woollatt - Consultant
Sam has spent his career in the building automation field working in design, implementation and commissioning. He has a wide range of experience in a number of open protocol extra low voltage systems and has worked on major integrated projects in Australia and Singapore. Some of the projects Sam has been involved with include Lyell McEwin hospital in Adelaide one of the first Integrated Extra Low Voltage Systems installed in Australia. His project experience also includes major pharmaceutical projects for Novartis and GlaxoSmithKline in Singapore.
