IELVS Concept

IBMS have developed a unified concept for the various control systems in the building called IELVS (pronounced “Elvis”). IELVS stands for Integrated Extra Low Voltage Services IELVS uses standard open technologies and high-grade off-the-shelf computer hardware and software to integrate all of the various control systems in the building into a common operating system for an intelligent building.

IELVS allows our customers to maximise the efficiency of their buildings and achieve many other benefits including:

• Energy Efficient Operations for compliance with BCA Annex J, Green Star and NABERS (ABGR) ratings
• Using Open Technologies means not being “locked in” to original vendors thereby reducing ongoing fit out and maintenance costs.
• An Open Web based user interface results in easy access for anyone with authority either locally or remotely.
• A single open database for gathering & reporting information from the building improves response times to faults and problems as well providing quality reports for building managers, owners, tenants and service personnel.
